Windows Phone 7 Software Update to Mango Will Hit All WP7 on Fall 2011 - Video Demos

Microsoft is slowly filling the holes on their first released WP7 OS with the upcoming big update to 7.1 or the WP Mango. The update is said to support all WP7 devices and it would be available in fall 2011.

Talking of the update blessings, this one will bring a lot of new features, changes and improvements to the system. One of the featured update is the threaded conversation to all your social network. The other big thingy is the integration of your applications right from your home screen with a good support of the improved multitasker. And with this update brings the IE9 to your mobile.

It is also expected that Ovi Maps will be the primary location service system of WP once the first Nokia Windows Phone will be released. Meaning, the whole forefront key is the NWP devices in order to fully release all the said merged services that Microsoft and Nokia planned about.

Nokia N9 or N950 Video Teaser

The upcoming and unannounced Nokia N9 or N950 revealed itself before its official show on the short video teaser that Pocketnow managed to grab from leak sources. The audio seems to be not the original score but the video is very legit due to the well-made video and phone.

Specs that are on the video shows it will be running on a new MeeGo OS with some Symbian Anna mixed icons and of course this beast will have the top notch camera of 12MP AF with DLED at wide angle and it's on Carl Zeiss lens too.

On its looks, the phone has the slim factor design with chiclet keyboard and a big screen with less bezel border on it. The keyboard is also a slide-out but there's no evidence on the video that it looks thick as E7 but rather a slimmer phone, maybe.

Greenhills, Philippines - The Place to Swap and Buy the Cheapest Used and Brand New Phones

I went to Manila last April and planned on staying here until June for my internship. As usual, gadgets were on my minds always. So there's no denying that I would be visiting V Mall on Greenhills, San Juan, Philippines. So I did. Because for many, this is the place of cheap and affordable original and imitation products from hard goods like smart phones to clothing.

Forget about these fancy imitation clothing and let's talk about the gadgets. All gadget stalls are located on 3rd level of the building.You wouldn't see some well-lit stores with glossy glasses but instead some small stalls where sales people are mostly women Muslims with phones and tablets narrowly layered inside transparent glass cabinets.

Most noticeable brands that would appear are Nokia, Black Berry, Apple, Samsung and Sony Ericsson. Mainly because of trends and the quantity of phones these brands represent on Philippines. These are mostly used and slight used devices, and they're offer brand new phones too but I think if you're buying a new phone you should just stick to a more-decent retailer like in other malls.

Nokia used and slight used devices are the most noticeable on stalls. From your Nseries line ups to the old classic devices, and all of these are smartphones. You could get the latest Nokia N8 at only P12,000 - P10,000 ($300-$200) for slight used and used and some with their retail boxes too, and will still depend on your haggling skills. Same on Sony Xperia X10 price as N8. Black Berry phones ranges up to P20,000  for the latest model. Old devices like Nokia N85 will be priced for P7000 below. There's no Nokia E7 available yet on this place but after some couple of months you would see them appear.

Next time, I would be returning on this place to inquire and hunt for some old Nokia Nseries devices that my friend favored. And I will check the prices of these devices again. :)
